Many times adopting an Adult Labrador is a more sensible choice for many families or individuals. Many families these days are too busy to raise an active puppy breed such as the Labrador Retriever. Labrador Retriever puppies can be a challenge to raise if you do not have the time, patience or knowledge for the first 2 years of the dog's life.
Some Labrador puppies in any given litter will be more laid back and other puppies will be more active so it's up to the breeder to help you choose the right puppy for you if you do decide to adopt a puppy instead of an adult.
