Above 2 photos taken of Bonzai when he was 4 months old by Dianne of Rycroft Labradors, an excellent photographer in Southern California. Bonzai was bred by Lisa Allen of Dalwater Labradors . Thank you Thank you Thank you Lisa from the bottom of our hearts !!!! Our family is so in love with Bonzai who arrived at Windels'  Home on March 1, 2010.      We'd been having problems coming up with a name that fit our new handsome black fella. His first name was Whiskey which relates to his AKC registered name however I didn't think it would be a good idea for my neighbors to hear me calling " Whiskey " in the morning, evening or night . Then I tried the name Prince but that seemed to feminine for our handsome boy. Yesterday my husband started calling our boy Bonzai and it just seemed to fit.      My friend Karlene told me that Bonzai means " Hurrah or Long Life. We certainly hope he lives a long life and he brings us unending Hurrahs !!  Bonzai is so full of quality inside and out. Besides Bonzai's beautiful expression, he has one of the best Otter Tails I have ever seen on a Labrador !!  Years ago when I was trying to come up with a kennel name, I thought about all the outward Labrador Traits and for some reason, I've always loved a " Correct Otter Tail ". So Classictail Labradors it was !!       I'll be adding more photos of Bonzai as he grows and matures. He will be shown in AKC shows around the Puget Sound as he matures and we may dabble in hunt tests as Bonzai loves to retrieve !!!!  Below MORE PHOTOS OF Bonzai's day at the beach March 7, 2010.
