Sweet Puffin
	Puffin came to live with us Thanksgiving 2009 as a puppy. She is part Shihtzu and Toy Spaniel mix.  Puffin is just about one of the smartest dogs we have ever owned to date !!  Must be the spaniel in her because she loves to retrieve as much as the Labradors.        When our 10 yr old mini Dachshund Nikki passed away from her cancer last February 2009, we missed her greatly. Around Thanksiving time our daughter Kady adopted Puffin as a pup but it got to be too much trying to raise a puppy in a small apt so we took Puffin in. Rowdy loves Puffin but our oldest daughter Candyce's dog Marisa and Puffin are best girl friends. When Candyce comes home with Marisa in tow, the 2 girls act as if they haven't seen each other for a year when in fact they've only been apart for 24 hours.
